Travel Channel, 8pm: Pria Viswalingam presents this refreshingly positive and intelligent look at the blighted continent of Africa. "Zanzibaris are like pilau," says Mohammed Ali (not the champ) over lunch with Pria at The Passing Show restaurant in Stone Town. Like the rice dish which is generously flavoured by a variety of colourful spices, the ethnic mix of Unguja Island is varied and includes Swahili, Shirazi Persian, Portuguese and Omani Arab.

Disney Channel, 6.30pm: The concert will showcase performances from the sold-out, High School Musical: The Concert tour. Features many of the stars of the blockbuster movie, including Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman, along with newcomer Drew Seeley.

M-Net Series, 7pm: The remaining contestants must prove their versatility and ability to think on their feet in challenges set for them to master. These include quicki-mart food. This will show their skills to prepare a dish that will remain looking and tasting good even after periodically reheating it in a microwave.

Hallmark, 10pm: The heroes of previous Black Fox films, Britt and Alan Johnson, attempt to head off a showdown between a bigoted white settler and a local Kiowa tribesmen. Trouble arises when the wife of one of the settlers, captured in a Kiowa raid, chooses to stay with the Kiowa tribe rather than go back to her abusive husband. Spice up your phone with less effort!
