Betty Ann Smith, 79, of Seymour died Saturday, April 21, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ellis Cooper Loveday, brothers, James Marvin Loveday, Douglas Loveday, sisters, Barbara Tipton and Wanda Nelson. She was a longtime active member of the South Knoxville Church Of The Nazarene, co-founder and operator of the RoundUp restaurant in South Knoxville for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Herman E. Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Eddy Smith and wife Doris; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Loveday and wife Linda of Knoxville, Floyd Loveday and wife Ava of Cookeville; sisters, Peggy Townsend and husband Jake of Maryville, Vivian Drinnon of Huntsville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews Funeral service will be held 7 p.
m. Tuesday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with the Revs. Robert Cottell and J.
B. Caylor officiating. Interment 11 a.
m. Wednesday in Highland South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.
m. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home Seymour 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865 (577-2807). Carol Jean Patton, 58, of Kodak died Saturday April 21, 2007.
She was employed by The University of Tennessee Medical Center, where she was the Head Nurse on 7 East for over 19 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Betty Hollar. Survivors include her husband, Jerry M.
Patton; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and David Levine; four grandchildren; brother, Gary Hollar; sisters, Terry Thomas, Melissa Hull, and Amy Thomas; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Susie Swanner, and Joyce Lozier. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St.
Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Memorial service will be held 6 p.m.
Tuesday in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m.
