One nice thing about Queen Street in Brisbane is that there are many streets performers along it all the time. Ranging from the , and many unique painting artists using different unique way of creating their unique painting. Recently, Charlie Chaplin’s successor made his way to Brisbane.

I wonder how many people still remember Charlie Chaplin; a voiceless seventies black and white funny comedy. Its something like a black and white version of Mr. This Charlie Chaplin will stand there without moving or even blink his eyes until somebody donate $1 to him.

Right at the moment you insert the coin, he will start moving and do some funny and stupid movement…NOT jokes, remember the seventies Charlie Chaplin didn’t speak at all !! When somebody generously donate a dollar, Charlie Chaplin resurrects, and come into life again.

Normally its children who like Charlie’s action. He will offer you some candy and a handshake from the famous Charlie Chaplin. Poor girl, see how Charlie Chaplin fooled and played around with her.

Its like the Live version of the But at the end, the girl was still happy getting a candy… Oh, it seems that this lady got the highest respect from Charlie Chaplin : But Charlie is a bit hamsap, and she got caned on the butt by Charlie when she was about to leave At the other end of Queen Street, I saw another real human statue. But this time its an Angmoh version of Ah Gua. Compare this version of Ah Gua from our Kuching one, who is prettier?

Actually, this big white doll is doing something like Charlie Chaplin ; donate some coins to him/her?? And she will start moving.

She will start looking at you with her horny look and spin her umbrella. This is stupid and funny. People laugh at him/her not because she is funny but her stupid Ah Gua look.

In the evening, I went to the Southbank Street Market. I guess one stall which worth me introduce is the Witch House; a stall that sells creepy and scary dolls and toys. Give it a hand clap and all the creepy creature will suddenly move and make creepy laughing sound : This sure is gonna scare the shit out of little children or girls… Let me introduce to you guys on the Street Beach right besides Southbank Market.

This is a human made artificial beach. It’s a nice place for people to have a quick picnic without having to travel the extra miles. This artificial beach is open to public at anytime.

Feel like wanna get wet? Just go ahead and jump into the "sea". I have never been into the water, but I guess the water is not salty as I can smell chlorine nearby.

This place is free of charge; not even a coin. A beach in the city, besides the Brisbane River. Does this make sense to you?

Night view of Southbank Artificial Street Beach Nice place near the artificial beach: Don’t like sand? No worries baby, just go to the public swimming pool few steps away from the artificial beach. And this one is free too : This is a lovely place to visit i would say.

As compared to our Kuching Waterfront, I feel sorry for Kuching. posted by *My Fortress of Life* at 11:09 AM One nice thing about Queen Street in Brisbane is that there are many streets performers along it all the time.
