Redmond 9, Sprague 1: Two-run home runs in the second and third innings fueled Redmond's offense in a road win at Sprague.
The Olympians didn't help themselves, committing seven errors.
West Salem 3, South Salem 2: Brian McGregor pitched a complete game, allowing only four hits and striking out five for West Salem.


Corey Bickler made the game close in the seventh for South Salem with a solo home run.
Steven Blum and Mark Rusconi each had two hits for the Titans.
Corvallis 11, Silverton 2: Connor Tony and Travis Dahl drove in first inning runs for Silverton but Corvallis answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning and won going away.


Nathan Williams went 3 for 3 with a double, two RBIs and four runs for the Spartans.
Jacob Bilyeu struck out seven hitters in five innings of work for Silverton.
Cascade 8, Stayton 4, (9): Brady Olsen hit a two-run triple in the top of the ninth and Cascade scored five runs in the inning to pull away from the host Eagles and earn the win.

Olsen was 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs.
Andy Lackner was 2 for 4 with a double to lead Stayton. The Eagles finish their season with a 3-15 league record.

Stayton (9-9) will host a league playoff on Monday or Tuesday.

Newport 17, Sweet Home 1
Valley Catholic 5, Willamina 1: Jared Biller hit a home run in the bottom of the fourth to score host Willamina's only run against the undefeated Valiants (24-0, 14-0).
The Bulldogs finish their season at 9-5 in league and will play at home at 4:30 p.

m. on Tuesday.
Regis 8, Creswell 2: Regis clinched the PacWest conference championship with the win at home against the Bulldogs.


Andy Brentano was 2 for 2 with a run and an RBI and Jake Obersinner scored three times and had five stolen bases for the Rams.
Regis is 16-2 in league and Creswell is 5-12.
Scio 12, Santiam 11: Trailing 11-6 to Santiam in the bottom of the last inning, Scio rattled off six consecutive runs to win in dramatic fashion.


Jayson Jones-Mask had a two-out RBI base hit to tie the game at 11, and the next batter, Ryan Hood-Taylor, sliced a hit into the outfield to score Jones-Mask and win the game.
Kennedy 6, Western Mennonite 5: R.J.

Phillips hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning to take the lead for Kennedy
The Trojans won the game in the bottom of the seventh inning after Western Mennonite tied the game in the top of the inning.
Evan Ropp was a perfect 4 for 4 for the Pioneers. Dan Gerig went 2 for 3 with two RBIs for the Trojans.


Blanchet 11, Delphian 0, (5): James Kelsh was 3 for 3 to lead Blanchet's 13-hit attack for the win at Delphian. Ben Rezac, Scott Tennant and Alex Beglau added two hits each for the Cavaliers.
McNary 3, McKay 1: The Celtics' Nichole McDonald earned the win in a pitchers' battle against McKay's Lindsay Crawford.


McDonald had two stirkeouts, no walks and one earned run while Crawford struck out four, walked four and collected two earned runs.
Krista Brustad was 2 for 3 to lead the Royal Scots' offense.
Sprague 2, Redmond 1: Brea Hedrick hit a two-run double in the sixth inning to provide all the offense in Sprague's win at Redmond.


Alex Sutherland pitched a complete game striking out 10 Redmond hitters.
South Salem 6, West Salem 5, (8): Kelsey White was 2 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI to lead the Saxons in their extra-inning win at West Salem.
Ashley Albers was 3 for 4 with two stolen bases and Makila Araiza was 2 for 4 with two RBIs to lead the Titans.


West Salem clinched the conference championship and will play on May 22nd. A win against Sprague on Monday will give the Saxons second place.
Cascade 1, Stayton 0: Alicia Tuttle's second-inning home run provided the game's only offense, but it was enough for Elayna Van Hess and the Cougars.


Van Hess struck out seven in the complete game victory. Natasha Crisman struck out five for Stayton.
Central 5, Philomath 1: Kayla Auer allowed just one hit and struck out 15 batters to lead Central past Philomath.


Briana Brewer went 2 for 4 for the Panthers with two runs scored.
Regis 7, Creswell 0: Katie Butterfield hit two doubles and scored two runs as Regis completed a perfect conference season with a win against Creswell.
Shannon Smith and Amanda Olheiser combined to allow just one hit for the Rams.


Blanchet 16, Delphian 0, (5): Tori Vedrode struck out 11 and walked one as the Cavaliers won at Delphian.
Scio 6, Santiam 5: Santiam pitcher Kelsey Stewart sent a two-run homer over the centerfield fence in the fifth inning and stretched a triple into a two-run inside-the-park home run in the bottom of the seventh.
However, despite a late push, the Wolverines couldn't recover from a five-run Scio third inning, and lost to the host Loggers.


District tournament: Central's Shannin MacCarthy and LeighAnne MacCarthy won the doubles title to lead the Panthers to the girls team title.
Junction City came in second place. Cascade was sixth.


The MacCarthys came from behind to beat Erin Iskra and Camille Reerslev of Junction City, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
In singles, Kelcy McKenna cruised to the girls title, not losing a game in the tournament until the championship match against Casey Schein from St. Mary's.


District championships: Jeffer-son's Juan Yzaguirre, George Wusstig and Grant Gagle all won individual events Friday to put the Lions in the lead heading into the weekend.
Dave Rannabargar, of Regis, won the 3000 meters with a time of 9 minutes 9.8 seconds.


District championships: Chrissi Grizzel won the javelin and discus events for Jefferson and teammate Ashley Patton took the 3000 meters.
Regis' Jenni Hall and Fionna Connolly both took finished second in their respective events, the javelin and long jump.
