LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Sandra Bullock will play a tough boss who faces deportation in romantic comedy 'The Proposal'.
The Disney film sees Bullock's character marry her young male assistant to avoid being sent back to Canada.
'The Proposal' will be produced by 'Mission: Impossible III' screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and written by Peter Chiarelli.
A director for the project is yet to be named.
Bullock is a romantic comedy veteran with film credits including, 'While You Were Sleeping', 'Two Weeks Notice' and 'Miss Congeniality'.
The 42-year-old actress is currently shooting 'All About Steve', where she plays an eccentric crossword puzzler who follows a CNN cameraman across the US to try and convince him they belong together.
Earlier this month, a woman named Linda Valentine was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and stalking after attempting to run over Bullock's husband Jesse James outside the couple's Sunset Beach home.
