Centennial Bank has hired Desmond Fourie as branch manager for the bank's new Layton branch located at 1333 N. Hillfield Road, Layton, and Scott Shearer as branch manager of the Clinton office at 1727 W. 1800 North.

Fourie has eight years experience with financial services, and Shearer has six years of banking experience. John T. Nielsen has joined the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development as the executive director of its Utah Health Insurance Exchange.

Nielsen will be coming out of retirement to fill the position. He previously worked as senior counsel and director of government relations for Intermountain Healthcare. The American Academy of Professional Coders, an education and credentialing association for medical coders, has added four specialists to its management team.

Sheri Poe Bernard is vice president of member relations, Barbara J. Cobuzzi is director of outreach programs, Stephanie Jones is vice president of member services and Nancy Reading is director of educational services. Agilix Labs Inc.

, a distributed learning software company, announced that two of the company's executives were named among the 100 most outstanding venture entrepreneurs in Utah as part of the 2007 vSpring Capital v100. They are Curt Allen, president and CEO, and Dave McGinn, COO. The company also announced that Curtis Morley has been hired as vice president of interactive development.

Navin C. Dimond, president and chief executive of Stonebridge Cos., a hospitality management and development company whose operations include Hampton Inn Suites in Ogden, is a Rocky Mountain Region finalist for the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2007 Award.

Dimond's company has developed 60 hotels and operated 75 lodging properties, employing more than 1,400. Sandy-based HealthCare Insight, a provider of fraud-prevention and cost-containment solutions for health care and dental claims payers, has hired Joshua Holmes as southeast regional manager and Frederick Serafini as northeast regional manager. Moore has been named director of the Utah Film Commission. Moore joined the commission three years ago as a producer services executive, and has worked with Warner Brothers, CBS, ABC, Hollywood Pictures, HBO, MGM, Universal TV and Showtime, among others.
