You have to love a mate like Hugh Jackman.
Jackman, who will start work on Baz Luhrmann's new film Australia tomorrow, hosted a two-day bucks party for his close mate and personal trainer Michael Ryan on the Gold Coast.
After spending a blokes day zooming around the Porsche Experience Driving Centre at Mt Cotton on Friday afternoon, Jackman, Ryan and a gaggle of more than 40 friends headed off on an evening cruise, followed by dinner that evening.
They broke with bucks night tradition by inviting women ndash; wives and girlfriends ndash; to the pre-wedding bash.
Ryan, who helped support Jackman in his student days and became the star's trainer for the X-Men movies and Van Helsing, will wed Zoe Bingley-Pullen in Sydney on May 19.
