HE MAY be banned from running a company but it seems veteran funnyman Steve Vizard could still be gearing up to re-enter the show business world.
It seems Robson, who scored her break as the newsreader on Tonight Live with Vizard in 1990, hadn't forgotten her mentor and squeezed him into an all-bloke panel for a segment of her show.
While he hasn't had much to laugh about lately, Vizard relished the return to the limelight and hammed it up when the trial episode was filmed last Friday.
While he received a rousing reception from the crowd, there are no guarantees he would become a regular.
I think it (the spot) would be rotated around a variety of blokes, his agent told Confidential.
He hasn't been asked to be a regular on the show if it gets up.
Not that the agent sounded too concerned, saying Vizard had a couple of other projects on the boil ndash; but predictably nothing I can talk about at the moment .
While Seven remained tightlipped on first impressions of the pilot, which also featured Hugh Jackman's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness and chippie Tom Williams, it is tipped to give it the nod of approval.
