audio: eisley - marvelous things

This week's been kinda crazy. Papers due, Latin exam. I just found out one of the guys I , Phil, died of an overdose about two weeks ago.

Big shame - he was a cool guy.

A good thing, though, has been the many movies I've been watching. I'm actually about to go watch two more (American Splendor All the President's Men), but before that (this is gonna be short sweet):

- very funny, a quality indie film.

I think I would have liked it more, though, if it hadn't been built up so much by pretty much everyone I know. Nonetheless, the more I watch it, the more I like it. (note: )

- I know, I know.

. how is it possible I had never seen this movie? Well, now I have, and I loved it.

(Ghost-bustin') Bill Murray has to be my absolute favorite actor of all time. And Wes Anderson..

what's not to like?

- very cute well done, but also very sad. The Circle of Life is depressing sometimes.

- loveloveloved this; totally blown away. Makes you sad to be alive, though, because of how messed up this world could be. (or how messed up it is?

)

- quality film. And despite the lack of any real action, I was on the edge of my seat for most of it.

- I enjoyed this movie, however it was trying alittle too hard to be different and indie and emo.

- there's a surprising amount of big names in this film. It painted an interesting picture of suburban life. I liked it a lot, but the ending didn't seem right.

- I very much enjoyed the different side of war this story told. "My war lasted 4 1/2 hours."
