A NATIONAL charity hopes to open a dedicated care unit for teenage cancer patients in Edinburgh.
The Who frontman Roger Daltrey, patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust, was today set to open a six bed unit in Glasgow. It is the eighth of its kind in the UK but Daltrey said more are needed
A Trust spokesman said it now hopes to open a further Scottish unit in Edinburgh.
The £500,000 Glasgow unit is housed at the new Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
