announced that Francisco Chevez has joined the Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Equity Research team. Chevez is a managing director who will cover the retail and consumer products sectors. He has more than 10 years experience as an equity research analyst and has been ranked byInstitutional Investor.
Most recently, Mr. Chevez worked as a consultant for Latin American companies. He reports to Rowe Michels, Director of Global Emerging Markets Research and is based in New York.
Chevez was president of Sofrana Advisory Services, a private corporate finance advisory services firm to Latin American clients. For ten years, he also covered consumer products as a senior equity research analyst at Salomon Smith Barney where he wasIIranked in 2000 and 2001.
