The veteran act's still-untitled 13th effort is set to be a double album, according to , at least in its initial pressing. Front man Robert Smith told the magazine that first pressings of the album will be a limited edition two-disc set, mixed by him, while laggards will have the option to pick up a single-disc effort with a label-approved mixer.
Here's the rub: The Cure plans to release the double-disc follow-up to 2004's (review) (Geffen), at a single-disc price, so early shoppers will benefit.
