Biffy Clyro have been chosen by the Red Hot Chili Peppers to be the main support at their Hampden Park gig on 23 August 2007. This is just one of the high-profile support slots for which Biffy Clyro have been chosen this summer, including stadium shows with the Rolling Stones in Barcelona on 21 June and Rome on 6 July. On 23 June, Biffy will fly straight from their afternoon performance at Glastonbury to support Muse at Paris' Parc des Princes stadium in the evening.
They have then been personally invited by Roger Daltrey to support The Who at Dublin's Marlay Park on 29 June. Biffy's summer has already got off to a busy start, with a triumphant set at Download followed by supporting Muse at Wembley Stadium. Further festival performances are confirmed at Glastonbury, Oxegen, T In The Park and the Carling Weekend, before the band head to the US to play the prestigious Warped Tour.
They will also support Editors on their 15-date US tour in September 2007. Following these dates, Biffy have announced their own headline tour for November 2007. The tour will include two hometown shows at Glasgow Barrowland on 7 and 8 November, and a date at London's Brixton Academy on 21 November.
