Tomorrow, Friday, June 1, Playboy Radio will launch a new weekly show titled The Bridget Wednesday Friday Show. Hosted by Hugh Hefner s girlfriend and co-star of E! Entertainment TV s The Girls Next Door, Bridget Marquardt, and co-hosted by her Pekingese, Wednesday, the show will air live every Friday morning (10am PT) on Playboy Radio, SIRIUS Satellite Radio Channel #198.
The show will feature Bridget s insider tales of life at the Playboy Mansion as well as her adventures with Hef, Holly and Kendra.
I couldn t be more proud of Bridget, said Hugh M. Hefner, Playboy Editor-in-Chief and Chief Creative Officer.
After putting in the hard work to earn multiple broadcasting degrees, she continues to follow her dreams. I m sure the new radio show will be a ton of fun. And Wednesday will be a great addition, especially on radio.
Bridget earned her Master s degree in Communications from the University of the Pacific in Stockton in addition to a BA degree in Communications from CSU Sacramento. Bridget s dog, a female black Pekingese named for Wednesday from The Addams Family, likes rawhide chew bones, doggie pizzas and chasing Bridget s cat, Gizmo, but dislikes pink ribbons in her hair.
Available as a free opt-in to subscribers of SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Playboy Radio currently boasts nearly three million listeners.
As of late many people have been asking me questions regarding Holly Madison s appearance prior to plastic surgery. As many of us know, Holly did not naturally look the way she looks on the Girls Next Door show. Watching the show, I knew her breasts were obviously fake, you would have to be blind to not realize that.
I also noticed her nose looked done but I didn t have an idea of the actual transformation that had taken place to turn mousey Holly into sexy Playboy bunny Holly. As a matter of fact, I never imagined that Holly was quite so average before a few nips and tucks. I did however notice that Holly is the brains of the bunch and the fact that she was less attractive and more intelligent is defintely interesting.
I am sure that is the last thing hot girls want to hear but hell, Holly is hot and intelligent and that is a powerful combination.
I love seeing Holly take charge on the show, you can see she has the drive and passion to achieve whatever she desires. Of course if she weren t banging Hef, she wouldn t have the opportunity to work for Playboy.
She probably wouldn t have had the opportunity to afford a top of the line boob job and rhinoplasty either.
Interestingly enough, Holly met Hugh preimplants and rhinoplasty (2001). All I can say is, he must have really been into her to want her over all the overinflated barbies throwing themselves at him on a daily basis.
When Holly told Hugh she wanted breast implants to bring her 34a breasts up to a D, Hugh actually tried to dissuade her. A few months later, Holly decided to get her breasts done, she chose Dr. Garth Fisher to perform the surgery.
Shortly after her new breasts she decided a nose job was necessary. Holly saw Dr. Raj Kanodia for her nose.
As you can see, Holly s new nose has made a world of difference. She did not look horrible before getting her nose done but she definitely stood out as the normal girl in a group of bunnies. It looks to me like her face has filled out overall.
I wonder if that is due to having a smaller nose or if she has some kind of filler injected? Regardless of fake boobs/nose/?, Holly looks amazing and I am sure her new found confidence makes her stronger and more capable of being Hef s right hand lady.
Hugh Hefner: Mr Playboy himself on his fashion and grooming regimes. He has 200 pairs of silk pyjamas, which is a good thing, because he spends 12 hours a day in bed.
My favourite outfit consists of pyjamas and a custom-made smoking jacket.
I have 200 pairs of silk pyjamas. I always wear black during the day – black is serious, for taking care of business.
Silk against skin is very sensual.
You have no idea how comfortable it is to lie around wearing pyjamas. I started wearing them all the time because I was working at night, and then I started wearing them when I entertained. I realised I could get away with it.
Then, of course, people were disappointed if they didn’t find me in pyjamas.
I also wear black velvet loafers, which are custom-made for me by Di Fabrizio in Los Angeles. I have 12 pairs.
My girlfriends and I spend 12 hours a day in bed. We watch TV and movies, play games and listen to music. I have a six-foot high-definition TV, Xbox 360 and video projector.
Everything is operated by a touch-screen panel next to the bed.
All of my 35 Armani suits are custom-made. I am probably the only guy in town who has Armani suits with turn-ups.
It’s a connection to my sense of tradition and to the time when I was growing up before World War II. My best shirts look like they are from the Twenties and Thirties. Rick Pallack makes my formal shirts; he is a local fashion designer and a friend.
They are white with cuffs.
I have absolutely no idea how much anything costs. My head of housekeeping does my shopping.
I don’t have a stylist, though – I choose my clothes and shoes. When I got the Playboy Mansion I didn’t leave the property for months, to shop or to go anywhere. Everything I needed was here.
I never think about how much I spend on clothes. The old saying goes that if you have to ask how much it costs, you can’t afford it. And it’s true.
I wish hats would come back into fashion. I like them, particularly when your hair is thinning. I have a Panama that came from Hollywood Hatters and an Aristocrat captain’s cap for wearing by the pool.
The reason I look good is that I have good genes. I never work out. The first order of business is this: pick your parents with a lot of care.
Mine always looked good and lived for a long time. Take care of yourself and have a good attitude. Sex, of course, keeps you fit and I sometimes take the girls dancing.
I’m thinking of having a little face-lift. There’s nothing wrong with plastic surgery. I think it is absolutely fine for men – I have already had teeth implants, and a few years ago I had a neck tuck.
We are dealing with a whole different set of things physically now because we live so much longer.
I am 81 and feel better than I did at 21. I have three girlfriends, a hot TV show and a hugely popular men’s magazine.
Life just gets better and better.
The first European Playboy Concept Boutique opens on London’s Oxford Street in August. ‘Girls Of The Playboy Mansion’ is on Sundays at 10.

Wilkinson spent Saturday jet skiing and parasailing on South Beach. According to our source, she called up Hugh Hefner himself when she saw an airplane banner fly by plugging her party at Mansion that night.
She screamed, “I’m so famous!”
Later that night, Kendra passed up dinner at trendy Nobu to watch the De La Hoya fight at a Mansion host’s house, later ordering a Domino’s Pizza to her party at Mansion where she wolfed down the pizza while chatting it up with fans.
Surprisingly, most of Kendra’s fans were female, snapping photos with several bachelorette parties, and only getting attention from men who stopped to say “my wife loves you on “The Girls Next Door.
” Kendra loved dancing (to hip-hop) so much that the DJ stayed past the 5 a.m. closing time to spin a few extra tracks so Kendra could keep dancing.
Hugh Hefner took on the stage with his playmates to announce Sara Jean Underwood as the Playmate of the Year.
The blonde 23 year old beat out 11 other beauties to become the magazine s 48th Playmate of the Year.
The hottie just started her year-long reign and it was celebrated with a backyard luncheon under a tent at Hugh Hefner s famous Playboy Mansion.
The party was attended by current and former playmates, more than 50 dating back to the 1950s.
Holly Madison, Playboy bunny, one of the three Girls Next Door, and the current love of Hugh Hefner’s life, has stripped down and appeared in an ad for PETA, the latest one to proclaim “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”
Holly’s supposedly a big animal lover, something which started during the time she and her family lived on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska.
She talks about her interest in animals briefly here:
We have tons of exotic animals and a great zoo department, and we have a zoo permit here. So it’s a great opportunity for me to learn, and I’ve actually started writing articles for my friend Christopher Ameruoso’s pet magazine that’s coming out. The first issue is out now.
It’s called The Coolest Little Pet Magazine. It’s like the size of a little TV guide, and I wrote my first article about the Squirrel Monkeys. It was a good opportunity to have an excuse to learn more about the species.
A Playboy girl with a purpose. I kind of like the idea. Seems like this one’s really setting out to make a name for herself these days and it’s great how she’s highlighting a cause she’s been devoted to for years.
It s noon on Saturday, April 14th in Long Beach. Racecars zoom around the Long Beach Convention Center, driven by 12 celebrities famous for just about anything and everything except auto racing.
Every year the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race forms a part of the weekend festivities for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
For 31 years, celebrities have participated in the 10-lap race, competing against a few professional drivers to raise money for the Racing For Kids organization, which benefits children s hospitals in Southern California.
Driving 2005 Scion tC Sports Coupes, this year s 12 celebrities included filmmaker George Lucas, professional skateboarder Bucky Lasek and TV stars Kathryn Morris ( Cold Case ) and Emily Procter ( CSI: Miami ). The race required hours of practice and training, but Lucas said it was an easy choice deciding to participate again this year.
It s always a huge amount of fun. I m not out to win, I m just out to have a good time, he said.
Morris said that while she also did it to have fun, the charity aspect had a lot to do with her decision to participate.
(Racing For Kids) is a great charity to contribute to, Morris said. I try to remember what those kids have gone through, what they re going through. They don t get to come out here and do something like this.
Robin Quivers, Howard Stern s radio co-host, was also excited to participate, despite the shock-jock s disparaging words.
(Howard said,) Robin, you re going to die. He s not for all this risk-taking behavior, she said.
Since the first rounds of practice, BMX rider Dave Mirra and tennis player Martina Navratilova were two of the favorites. Indeed, these odds proved to be true for the actual race Saturday. Mirra and Navratilova occupied the first and second spots, respectively, throughout the entire race.
Not all the racers had so much luck. Kendra Wilkinson ( The Girls Next Door ), Grand Marshall Hugh Hefner s obvious favorite, crashed into a wall halfway through the race.
The Playboy magnate enjoys his laugh about the paternity uncertainties still swirling around Anna Nicole Smith, but his feelings about the former Playmate turned pop icon are no joke.
In serious fashion, his bunny empire will offer three upcoming Smith tributes: a 10-page pictorial in the magazine s May issue, an hourlong retrospective on Playboy TV and an online memorial on Playboy.com.
Smith, who first appeared on the magazine s cover in March 1992 and was named Playmate of the Year in 1993, was 39 when she died of an accidental drug overdose in February.
So what was it about the buxom blonde Texan that Hefner found so alluring?
It was her presence in front of the camera, he told The Associated Press on Thursday, chatting in the library of his famed Playboy Mansion. She was one of those who loved being in front of the camera and came alive in front of the camera.
There was very clearly a Marilyn Monroe quality about her and that aspiration was clear from the very beginning. She talked about Marilyn Monroe all the time.
Smith often posed like Monroe, he said.
At a Halloween party in 2004, she came dressed in a Marilyn Monroe-type outfit accompanied by three men in tuxedos: her attorney Howard K. Stern, boyfriend Larry Birkhead and son Daniel.
The irony in terms of Anna Nicole s fascination with Marilyn Monroe is how successful she was in building a similar kind of career, not through acting but simply through celebrity itself, said Hefner, who was wearing his usual silk pajamas and smoking jacket.
The tragedy is she lived large as Marilyn did and died in a very similar way.
She was still Vickie Smith when she first caught the eye of Playboy editors, who argued over whether to include her in the magazine.
She came here and she weighed about 160 pounds, Hefner recalled.
We like the voluptuous ladies but not that voluptuous. It was a wonderful statement for the simple fact that beauty has no limitation in terms of size. You can be a big lady and a beautiful lady, and she was.
With three tributes, might Playboy be opening itself to criticism for profiting from Smith s death? Not the case, Hefner quickly replied. It s quite frankly celebrating her in a way that she would appreciate.
The publishing titan turns 81 on Monday, but makes little concession to the calendar. He just celebrated his birthday with a bash in Las Vegas, and recently started work on the third season of The Girls Next Door, an E! reality show about life with his girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.
Their upcoming adventures include an appearance at the Toyota Grand Prix, where Hefner will serve as grand marshal (and Wilkinson will drive a race car), and a trip to Monte Carlo at the invitation of Prince Albert, Hefner said.
Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, better known as The Girls Next Door are getting their own Brenden Celebrity Star at Brenden Theatres inside the Palms this weekend.
The buxom beauties will be joining their famous boyfriend, Hugh Hefner, who already has a celebrity star as well as Toni Braxton, Shaq, Dennis Hopperand Cuba Gooding, Jr. who just received his star this past weekend as reported right here in the pages of LUXE LIFE.
The festivities will undoubtedly be part of the weekend-long birthday celebration for the Girls beaufriend at the Palms and Playboy Club who, for the first time sense moving into Playboy West, is celebrating his birthday outside of the Mansion.
LUXE LIFE is assuming the legendary Grotto will have to be replaced by the luxury infinity pools in the sky villa.
