ou won't see them for at least six more months, but remember their names - Kevin and Peter Barton of Loudon will be gracing the silver screen with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the film Revolutionary Road. The much-anticipated reunion of Kate and Leo - you remember Titanic? - is scheduled for release Dec.
The pair play a young couple in a Connecticut suburb in the 1950s, trying to deal with their personal problems and raise their children. The 8-year-old Barton boys - they are actually two members of a set of triplets - play the children of David Harbour, who stars as Shep Campbell, the couple's friend. Their mother, Terri Barton, said the boys are still too young to be star struck when they're on the set.
"They tell their friends about it, but it's just another day," she said. Although all three boys - Kevin, Peter and their brother, Mark - auditioned for Revolutionary Road, Barton said the film's producers needed boys who appeared to be different ages. Kevin and Mark looked too much alike, thus producers chose Kevin and Peter.
They started filming in Connecticut a few weeks ago and will return for another day of shooting July 7. They will appear in four scenes in the movie. The triplets began acting after their parents received a post card advertising an open casting call for children.
They appeared in their first commercial in 2005 - an ad for Kmart. ou won't see them for at least six more months, but remember their names - Kevin and Peter Barton of Loudon will be gracing the silver screen with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the film Revolutionary Road.
