Golden Globe winner Uma Thurman has signed on to an HBO movie adaptation of acclaimed playwright David Hare's drama "The Zinc Bed." Paddy Considine ("Hot Fuzz," "Cinderella Man") and Jonathan Pryce ("Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End") will also star in the film, which HBO is co-producing with the BBC. It's likely to premiere sometime in 2008.
"The Zinc Bed," which debuted in London in 2000, centers on Considine's character, an alcoholic who becomes involved with his boss' wife (Thurman). Through their affair, the play explores the ideas of "addiction and obsession," HBO says. The movie will be Thurman's second project for HBO; she won a Golden Globe in 2003 for her performance in "Hysterical Blindness.
" The "Kill Bill" and "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" star has two feature film projects due in the next year, "In Bloom" and "The Accidental Husband." Considine will next be seen in "The Bourne Ultimatum," due in theaters in August. Two-time Tony Award winner Pryce's credits include "Evita," "The New World" and HBO's "Barbarians at the Gate," for which he scored an Emmy nomination.
Hare earned an Oscar nomination in 2003 for his adaptation of "The Hours." Among his screen credits are "Plenty," "Strapless" and "Wetherby." Director Anthony Page has a long list of stage credits to his name, along with TV adaptations of "Middlemarch" and "The Missiles of October.

When last we left our prison breakers, tattoo-happy Michael (Wentworth Miller) had just been locked up in a particularly gloomy prison in Panama at the behest of yet another vast government conspiracy.
Vance will play Whistler, one of the prisoners at Michael's new abode. He probably wants to get out of prison. She probably wants to get him out of prison.
Garcia's credits are limited to the feature "Danika," starring Marisa Tomei, and a lone episode of "CSI: Miami." She has also completed work on the feature "From Mexico with Love." Vance is a British actor, best known to fans of U.
