Yet another niche social networking site has launched, this time for those who've passed on, according to TechCrunch.Respectance, the site "provides a space for family and friends to honor their dead loved ones by creating online tributes." Though similar tributes can be found on major social networking sites, creators Tom Wilkinson and Kazaa co-founder Richard Derks wanted to create a dedicated and appropriate outlet for individuals "to heal and share memories of their loved ones, while finding others with similar experiences.

" Respectance has offices in both San Francisco and Krakow, Poland with $250,000 from Netherlands-based Solid Ventures. It will not operate on advertising revenue, focusing instead on charging for premium services.
