Video: Worst Voice Acting Ever

When a game developer tells you they've recruited Hollywood talent for their new project, brace for impact. Simply hiring a talented actor does not mean that your voicework is going to be pitch-perfect. Especially when all you do is place them in front of your script (read: Excel spreadsheet), tape their first read-through, then call it a day thirty minutes later.


Sadly, that's what we get from too many video games these days, an industry with more money than sense. Games Radar has put together a collection of video clips that feature top-priced Hollywood talent like Christopher Walken and David Duchovny phoning in some awful performances on their day off. You can almost hear them saying, Are we done?

I've got to get the kids to a birthday party as they finish their can-I-take-your-order monotone performances.
Meh, that didn't really seem so bad.
