Written and directed by Marc Lawrence, this fun romantic comedy centers around a washed up 80's singer, (Grant), who has only a few days to compose a new song. Having never written lyrics before, this ONE comeback chance appears hopeless until an offbeat younger gal with a flair for words (Barrymore) enters the picture.
Although comedies aren't always my cup of tea, Barrymore definitely is, which is why I went to a special screening for this flick and surprisingly loved it!
While the trailer seemed kind of silly, the movie is truly a gem!
I promise, you won't be disappointed! So grab some fat-free popcorn, a few Valentine chocolates, and a bottled water from the local store, sneak it into the theatre to avoid the movie house airport-style costs, and enjoy the show.
