SHE is hoping to launch a Hollywood career as a comedy writer but Katie Fischer's latest effort is laughable for all the wrong reasons.
In the nonsensical nine-minute sketch Supermodel Hotdog, which Fischer wrote and co-stars in, the former Sydney socialite argues with a wannabe actress about which of the duo should dress up as a hotdog.
Fischer, who posted the skit on popular video share web site You Tube, ends up donning a skin-tight red leotard and an oversized bun before joining her two castmates in a song about hotdogs.
In a bizarre moment, she also rubs her groin on her male co-star when he is dressed in the hotdog suit and tries to lick her female co-star on the face.
The sketch - which also stars unknown American actors Rena Riffel and Hoyt Richards - was filmed earlier this year in the dining room and courtyard of Fischer's West Hollywood apartment in a ramshackle 1920s Spanish Colonial-style building.
Fischer's apartment, which she bought following her split from former fiancee James Packer, is only 200m from famed celebrity hotel Chateau Marmont, which is a home-away-from-home of celebrities including Lindsay Lohan and Olivier Martinez.
Fischer, 33, has been trying to break into the LA acting scene for several years but her last role was a tiny appearance in the 2003 Steven Seagal movie The Foreigner.
The invisible children of Uganda? Read somthing else! This is Sydney Confidential.
